Deep routes, small groups, no shortcuts.
The Original Concept
This is the concept Nomadic Road started with. In 2017, the first expedition rolled: a route withouta template, a group small enough to move like explorers, not tourists, and a plan that left room forthe country to have its say. Every Signature expedition since has been built the same way. These are the deep routes: the vast open steppes of Mongolia, where it all began; the end of theworld in Patagonia; the Dakar rally routes of the Andes; the uncharted terrains of the Kalahari andMadagascar. Ten to fourteen days, fully immersed, long enough that a place stops performing foryou and starts being itself.

Signature Expeditions
The Signature expeditions open now, with more added as the season unfolds.
Who These Expeditions Are For

HOW signature EXPEDITIONS MOVE

A week is a visit. Two weeks is a crossing.
The length is not a luxury. It’s the mechanism. The first days get you past the postcard. What’s left is the part worth driving for.

Twelve explorers
Twelve is the number where a convoy still moves as one, a camp still fits around one fire, and no one becomes a passenger in their own expedition.

Seventy planned. Thirty earned
70% of every Signature route is planned to the hour. The other 30% belongs to the road, and on a two-week crossing, that 30% is where most of the stories come from.
Other Ways to Move
The choice is how you want to meet the frontier.
